a religious ceremnoy

The natives are having a religious ceremony. They are trying to appease the Council Gods by offerings of big stuff. They place these offerings in front of their homes. It's been there for close to a week now, and I don't think the Gods are being appeased. Atleast not right now. I think They want more. The offerings mainly consist of furniture and electrical equipment, even monitors. Sometimes there are broken branches and planks of wood.
