walkabout

I'm going walkabout! I have just got into a 3yr long PhD programme in Animal Behavior at the Macquarie University, Sydney under the supervision of Ken Cheng. My thesis will be on predator-prey relations in an orb spider, Argiope keyserlingi. I have really no idea what exactly I'll be doing with the spider, but it's going to involve a series of lab based experiments where I will pose intricate questions to the spider and hope that it responds in a way I can understand. I'm leaving on the 12th September, flying via Bombay to Sydney.
